Press Release

Cuban National Commitment.

Miami, FL. April 22, 2005. Over a period of several months and for the purpose of combining efforts and criteria to accelerate the process to return Cuba to a democracy, a group of Cubans have initiated contacts with leaders of different professional and political organizations as well as businessmen from several cities around world.

These relations and productive discussions have resulted in a document requesting all Cubans in good faith for a commitment to ourselves and our Country.

The content of the Cuban National Commitment document as well as the expectations from it will be brought to light next Monday April 25th at 11:00 AM EST in the Historic Political Prison, known as the Prisoner’s House and located at: 1140 SW 13 Ave. Miami, FL 33135.

We invite all Cuban organizations and Cuban citizens as well as the press media to participate with us in said activity.

Many thanks.
